Harriet is a structured finance specialist whose expertise covers all areas of capital markets, banking and general corporate transactions, as well as the formation of private equity and hedge funds, and downstream PE investment work. Harriet has particular experience in debt and equity capital markets and derivatives transactions, specifically convertible, high yield and exchangeable bonds, as well as MTN and repackaging programmes and securitisations. Harriet practises both Cayman Islands and BVI law.
Harriet was named in the Asian Legal Business Hot 100 list of pre-eminent Asia-Pacific lawyers for the year 2010-2011.
Harriet was previously a partner in Maples and Calder’s Hong Kong office where she was responsible for their structured finance practice in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to that, she worked for Simmons & Simmons in their London, Hong Kong and Tokyo offices.
